About Us
F. A. Vinnen Philippines, Inc. commits to provide seamless services for our seafarers and their families with a sharp look on the principal’s need in respect to quality and commercial efficiency. Having started with a traditional German shipowner as its first client, F. A. Vinnen Philippines, Inc. deeply adopted and appreciates the core values and expectation of real shipowners. Consequently we are able to deliver services as if the ship owner/manager would do it himself, in other words – crewing and manning done the “owner’s way”.
Over the years since our humble beginnings we expanded our business in terms of quality, quantity and services exceeding the simple manning of ships. Today we are proud to be able to deliver custom made crewing- and manning solutions covering broad areas from inter alia, recruitment, career development, crew planning, training, crew change arrangements including flights and coordination of husbandry agents in port of calls.
A remarkable fact is that many of our principals/clients are meanwhile self-sustainable in respect to top level Officers and Engineers due to our mutual efforts to develop senior officers from cadet to management level
by applying structured cadetship programs and well managed/planned on-board assignments as well as performance oriented “rating to officer” schemes.
We firmly believe that a pool of excellent seafarers which is organically grown from within will by far exceed one which has been recruited from the market. To assure seamless manning of our principals ships even during tough times and volatile markets we are paying highest attention that our principals will benefit from the best of both worlds and we offer a healthy mixture of “own-grown” and newly hired professionals for every ship which is entrusted into our manning- and crew management services.
The efficient team of F. A. Vinnen Philippines, Inc. is headed by its president Mr. Hernane Balinas Jr. and his professional management team lead by Operation Manager Andrea Jascayra N. Pedroso and Finance Manager Rea Famulagan.
